- Commit: before the round, the game publishes a hash of the server seed. A hash is a one-way scramble: you can't reverse it to find the seed, but it locks the seed in.
- Play: the round runs; the crash point is derived from server seed + client seed.
- Reveal & verify: afterwards, the game reveals the server seed. You hash it yourself and confirm it matches the hash from step 1 — proof it was set in advance and never swapped. Then you re-derive the crash point and confirm it matches what happened.
If any of those checks fail, the operator cheated — and because anyone can run them, they can't. That's the whole point: fairness you don't have to take on faith.
Why a predictor is mathematically impossible
Now the sentence that ends the predictor industry: the crash point does not exist until the round starts. Before that moment there is only a locked hash — a scramble that reveals nothing about the result. A predictor would have to either reverse the hash (which is computationally infeasible — that's the entire security of modern cryptography) or read a number that hasn't been generated yet. Neither is possible. So any app, bot or "hack" showing you a number in advance is showing you a guess dressed up as a forecast. It cannot be anything else.
